Nebraska Probate Form 414 - Informal Closing Receipt

WHEN TO USE THE FORM: Before filing the Informal Closing of Estate by Verified Statement pursuant to Nebraska Probate Code § 30-24,117(a), a Personal Representative should distribute the assets of the estate. Each final distribution should be accompanied by a copy of the Informal Closing of Estate by Verified Statement, Form 412, a copy of the Final Accounting, unless waived (form not included), a copy of the Schedule of Distribution, Form 422, and an Informal Closing Receipt, Form 414.

HOW TO USE THE FORM: Although not required by statute, it is recommended that the signed Informal Closing Receipts and the Final Accounting be filed with the Registrar at the time of the filing of the Informal Closing of Estate by Verified Statement (Form 412).

WHEN NOT TO USE THE FORM: The form should not be used when the estate is closed other than informally.
