WHEN TO USE THE FORM: The Decree of Final Discharge is entered by the Court after the Personal Representative has met all conditions, including, if required, filing receipts evidencing distribution contained in the Formal Order for Complete Settlement.
HOW TO USE THE FORM: The Decree of Final Discharge represents the final step in the formal closing of an estate pursuant to Nebraska Probate Code §§ 30-24,115 or 30-24,116. It is evidence of the termination of a Personal Representative's authority and the Personal Representative's full discharge. It also evidences the discharge of the Personal Representative's bond and the release of the surety thereon.
WHEN NOT TO USE THE FORM: Do not use this form in any administration which is not formally closed pursuant to Nebraska Probate Code §§ 30-24,115 or 30-24,116.
