The Special Administrator should file Form 300, Acceptance of Appointment, wherein the Personal Representative submits personally to the jurisdiction of the Court. Nebraska Probate Code § 30-2445. Note: Nebraska Probate Code § 30-2209(33) defines "Personal Representative" to include "Special Administrator," ("General Personal Representative" excludes "Special Administrator.")
If there is any limitation in the appointment or duties of the Special Administrator, or if the appointment is for a specified time, to perform particular acts, or on other terms specified by the Court in formal proceedings, these items should be added to the second paragraph of the Letters.
